2006, Los Angeles, California

Photo and Video

Commemorative exhibition done for the centennial anniversary of the first major wave of Filipino migration to the U.S. The installation provided an intimate glimpse into 100 individual lives and experiences that reflect the collective story of the Filipino community in 2006.  This project was done in collaboration with my good friend and artist, Celina Taganas-Duffy. The exhibition was held at the Farmani Gallery.

This exhibition was the official project for the Los Angeles/Southern California Filipino American Centennial Planning Committee in Partnership with the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Program. Full project here.
