Workshop tour that focused on the core principles and movements of Bagua, a martial art known to be very complex, sophisticated, and deep. Through physical movements and applications, attendees experienced how martial arts, meditation, healing, spiritual, and well-being practices are connected. Workshops were done in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Tokushima.

The Tokyo workshops had a special guest in attendance, Kono Sensei. A very humbling and surprising moment happened after the workshop when Kono Sensei gave me a shuriken as gift. What an honor to receive a such a gift from a sword and shuriken master!

The Tokyo workshops were also featured in a 6 page spread in the Feb 2020 issue of Hiden Magazine. (English translation of the article here.)

This workshop tour was due, in part, to the success of the 2018 workshops in Tokyo. Sincere thank you to The International Martial Studies Research Institute (Kokusai Bugaku Kenkyukai) for hosting and organizing all the events, to my teacher and Grandmaster, Mitusoka Sensei for inviting me to Japan to share my life’s work, and to my teacher Sifu Christopher Matsuo for all his wisdom, love, and support.
